Sample Activities:

 

·       A school wide unity day to celebrate diversity is being planned by the school. As part of the celebration, a mini-Olympics will be held. A plan needs to be developed and implemented to include opening exercises, main events, and closing ceremonies. A small budget has been allocated but will need to be supplemented.

 

·       Emergency Situation Bingo

 

·     Students explain how to handle situations such as:

    1) Students clothing catches on fire.

    2) A chemical from an experiment in class starts stinging the skin

    3) A student uses his/her fingers to sample a cookie dough

    4) When using a sewing machine, a sewing needle goes through your index finger.

    5) A student hits a fingernail instead of a piece of wood

    6) A fire alarm goes off in the school

    7) A smoke detector goes off in a bedroom at home.

    8) A stranger wants you to get into a car to help a puppy.
