Sample Activities:

 

·         Climatic conditions have changed in the twenty-first century. Research scientists are looking at the oceans to create habitable communities. Create an underwater community.

 

·       Accessible Public Transportation

 

·       Travel Safety by Bus on Public Transportation

 

·       I’ve Got a Problem-Conflict in the Workplace

 

·         Describe rules for operating motor vehicles.  Why are the rules necessary?  Student takes driver's education class to learn to properly drive motor vehicles.  Describe how rules are similar or different for scooters, motorcycles, cars, and trucks.

 

·         Plan trip from a town/city in New Jersey to Chicago.  Investigate time schedules and costs for different methods of travel other than by car.  Develop schedule that identifies times, stops, transfers, costs, etc. for the trip.  Make recommendations for fastest method and cheapest method.  Explain.
