Sample Activities:

 

·        Statistics indicate that drugs have an impact on worker productivity and safety. As CEO, develop a program focusing on the reduction of substance abuse in the workplace.

 

·        Climatic conditions have changed in the twenty-first century. Research scientists are looking at the oceans to create habitable communities. Create an underwater community.

 

·        The town has decided to build a new school. Prepare a presentation to convince the local board of education.

 

·        Character Education Portfolio

 

·        Describe situations like date rape.  Research ways to respond to such situations.

 

·        Describe components of interdependence and independence.  What are situations where the student has been dependent and independent.  Discuss how to obtain a balance between the two.

 

·        Discuss changes in communication, expectations, routines, and relationships that students have experienced in the past three years.  How might it change as you go off to college or work.
