Sample Activities:

 

·       Statistics indicate that drugs have an impact on worker productivity and safety. Develop a program or campaign focusing on the reduction of substance abuse in the community and in the workplace.

 

·       The behavior of sports stars and movie personalities has been called into question. Develop a system for identifying and promoting positive role models in the community.

 

·       Demonstrate workplace behaviors such as punctuality, flexibility, teamwork, and perseverance in the classroom.

 

·       Brainstorm a list of chores at home and tell why the chores/duties are important.

 

·       Discuss character education traits and how they enhance good work habits.

 

·       Describe a job you have at school. Give three reasons why you should complete this job.

 

·       Students read an autobiography about a famous person who has had an impact on society. Make an outline of qualities of the person related to home, community, and school. Share a summary of the person’s life with the rest of the class.
