Sample Activities:

 

·        An individual wants to select a career pathway….in an area of interest for future employment and postsecondary and lifelong learning.

 

·        Climatic conditions have changed in the twenty-first century. Research scientists are looking at the oceans to create habitable communities.

 

·        Analyze the effects of technology (microwaves, computers, DVD players etc.) on family life.

 

·        Invite a representative of a sewing machine company to demonstrate the use of a serger and embroidery sewing machines to the class. Have students make and easy project using both machines. Invite a representative from a manufacturer of another technological product to demonstrate the item to the class. Students discuss how the product has changed the lives of people over time.
