Sample Activities:

 

·     Climatic conditions have changed in the twenty-first century. Research scientists are looking at the oceans to create habitable communities. Create an underwater community.

 

·     Current transportation systems consume natural resources and add to pollution and congestion.

 

·     Students will be able to create/design a concept map to show the relationships between things. i.e., shoes-they can be high top or low top, they can have laces, Velcro, or slip-ons – then assorted colors.

 

·     Students will be able to design a web for a book report. Students can make the web by using Auto shapes in a word processing document or in a Paint program. Templates for graphic organizers and/or graphic organizer programs can also be used.
