Cumulative Progress Indicator: 4 - The student will produce a simple finished document using word processing software.

 

Grade: 4

 

Sample Activities:

 

·       Earth is becoming uninhabitable.

 

·       An individual wants to select a career pathway….in an area of interest for future employment and postsecondary and lifelong learning

 

·       Discuss Acrostic Poems. Select an acoustic poem or create one and keyboard it on the computer. Discuss formatting the poem and demonstrate the method. Run spell check. Save the poem and print. Include identifying information on the page.

 

·       Students draw a picture related to lesson topic.  Pictures are scanned to a computer file.  The student writes about his/her picture using a word processing program.  Teacher demonstrates how to scan a picture and import into a word processing document
