Sample Activities:

 

·       Students studying the life cycle of a plant measure the growth of a bean plant daily and prepare a graph to show the change observed over time.

 

·       Students create graphs based on peer information, such as birth months, states in which students were born, number of books read by each student. The data are compiled into a class album that is kept on display. Students periodically add new information, such as numbers of children who participated in various weekend activities.
