Sample Activities:

·       Students examine television advertisements for movies with G and PG–13 ratings. They discuss the differences in the audiences addressed and the advertising techniques used for each type of rating.

·       Students use the Internet to analyze the websites of several colleges, technical schools, and universities that they might want to attend. Students then compare the amount and kind of information given for each school they review and the type of audience to whom each seems to be addressed.
