Cumulative Progress Indicator: 5 -  The student will revise drafts by rereading for meaning, narrowing the focus, elaborating, reworking organization, openings, and closings, and improving word choice and consistency of voice.

 

Grade: 4

 

Sample Activity:

 

·      A prewritten essay can be cut into paragraphs. Students then work in small groups to find the transitions that allow them to put it in sequential order.
