Sample Activities:
Musical Celebration: Students will sing/perform on
instruments/move to songs from 2-3 different cultures which deal with different
celebrations in those cultures.

Students will perform the songs in the native language where appropriate.

Students will discuss the particular event being celebrated and how not all
cultures celebrate the same events.
·
Students can discuss how different cultures celebrate the same holiday through
music (Thanksgiving/ Boxing Day, New Year's Day, Christmas Around the World,
religious holidays, patriotic days).
