A Day at the Beach
- Discuss the role of the designer in the creation of
commercial products.

Working in groups, students design and create a series of coordinated beach
accessories (e.g. beach ball, toy, flip flops, sunglasses) using mixed media
(e.g. oak tag, foam, feathers, sequins, glitter, buttons, ribbon, etc.).

Groups present completed designs and models to the entire class.
