Sample Activities:

 

Planning a Production - Plan scripted scenes from a directorial perspective.

      ·        Discuss and model the process of preparing a production book. Students design a production book including floor plans, planned movement, and set design. Produce and present for an audience.
·        Evaluate the process and final product through journal entries. Assess ways in which the production could be improved.

 

Essential Questions:
·        Why is the planning process so important to the success of a production?

 

Reflective Practice:
·        What kind of adjustments to that plan might be necessary?
