· Select
a career and role play a scenario depicting why people do this work and how it
benefits others. Discuss role plays in class.
· Teacher
reads a story to the class. Discuss the character’s occupation and
responsibilities.
· Being
responsible is an important trait needed for a fourth grade student. Have the
student rate themselves on the following items:

laundry, painting, preparing meals, looking after children, cleaning, and mowing
the lawn, etc.?
· Do most men like having their wives work outside the home? Why?

· Do
most women work so they can buy “extras” for themselves, their homes, and their
families? Explain your answer.
