Sample Activities:

 

Collaboration - Collaborate to develop a group scene. In small groups, brainstorm characters with opposing motivations, evaluate for dramatic potential, and choose the most appropriate. Students develop characters through differentiation of vocal and physical qualities. Create a scene through improvising the interaction of those characters. Perform for members of the class.

·        Can you work collaboratively?
·        What skills do you need in a collaborative project?
·        Why is collaboration so important in theatre?

 

Reflective Practice:
·        What did you enjoy about the collaboration process?
·        What aspects of collaborating were most frustrating?
